# Upgrading The Farm

Upgrading a farm is the only way to go if a player wants to make bigger profits from the game. 

As the player advances in levels, the available loot becomes substantially bigger and so does the [mutant liquid](https://docs.thefarmwars.com/chapter-3-game-resources/mutant-liquid).

The player must first mint or obtain the upgrade NFT from the secondary market to have access to the upgrade. \
Those mints will only be avaialble to the player by reaching those levels. \
This will give another source of profits to the farm wars users, by having rare NFTs to either grow stronger in the game or to sell on the secondary market.
